Sit and Spin decoy

Postby riverrigger » Mon Dec 08, 2014 12:06 pm

I just ordered the sit and spin after looking at alot of decoys. It's cheap and with all the reviews, it performs better than alot of more expensive ones. Any comments?

I have never used a decoy. If I were to use one, I would tie a feather on a light piece of string and let the wind blow it. Plus in my opinion, if you don't have a decoy that makes noise, or a remote speaker, then they still come looking for the call. I use 99% mouth calls, so a decoy really looks out of place from where the sound comes from. Just my opinion.

I use a decoy but I never figured the ground would get so hard during the deep winter that I would struggle getting it into the ground. Sometimes I will simply hang the wiggling decoy from a low branch.
