Errors and Emoticons

Postby Fitter » Thu Feb 16, 2012 1:47 am

Two elements I am aware of not functioning properly right now are the erros showing at the top of the page and some missing emoticons.

I tried reading them thinking they were messages from you  Thanks for the headsup. Dave
I saved alot on my insurance just by switching into reverse and fleeing the scene of the accident.

The errors are supposed to be telling the tech what the problem is but they're not. I also see that the avatars and some of those graphics are missing. These are things, besides the errors, that will likely disappear once I rebuild the forum. I will be getting rid of this black background with white text as it drives my eyeballs whacky.

Anyone else see problems just speak up please. I won't see everything a bunch of members will see. Thanks.

So far everything else is smooth sailing

THe little boxes towards the top that say Home, photos maybe etc. I can't see the text in them.

Those boxes at the top will disappear when the new theme is applied as they are no longer even needed. I assume without looking yet that the login areas will also change as the new theme will not be black. In fact there could be problems with the new theme but those we will be able to work with and customize. The theme we have been using is mainly here now to make sure the forum will work and the information is being properly inserted. As you say, so far smooth sailing, and that is good news. I wish I could say that on this end.

So all said and done will this be the new forum? Should I delete the book mark for the old site address?

Thanks and keep up the good work!

Yes. In case I havent made it clear this will be the new domain. No more varmints, it's now coyotes as the main focus and this is reflected in the new site. I am rebuilding the website portion http://wisconsincoyotehunters.com of the site as we speak and trying to weed through numerous smaller options.

If you guys have any suggestions at all now is the time to speak up.

If I knew what you guys were thinking I probably wouldnt be here. But on that same note, if I had the coyote hunting knowledge you guys have I'd be writing fresh material for the site. That my friends is what brings in new visitors and members and keeps the ball rolling and a site growing.
