Ended ep with 860 kills for the week, ran out of ammo, lost two days to raina nd had a ball. Most memeorable shot was with my friends 6.5X284 Shehane, 560 yard Buddha dog, destroyed. Fun gun was the 17 mach IV I had built. No recoil, but wrecks dogs.

I was out west of Pierre the week of June 13...had a good shoot. 1000 rounds though the A 15 DPMS. didn't count the kills but hit lots of them..always windy. Hows the .17 do in the wind?

Better than what people expect. The velocity helps a bunch there. I use it as my Bipod gun so shots are under 300 yards.

1700 rounds for 860 critters, you better stick to shooting steel you have better results. :D
I plan on getting a 6.5x284 barrel for the MOA, I loved shooting Erinie's out in Pueblo last year. It should make an excellent hunting rig.

When your shots are 300 yards and beyond on a liter bottle sized target and you hit more than that, come talk to me. The 6.5X284 we took was fun, should be a good one.
