Welcome back. I assume there were others besides Fox_Hunter that couldn't access the site right away after I sent the email notice. That's out of my hands and the timeframe is different for most everyone. But I wanted to send an email as quickly as possible to let members know the board was up and running again.

What email? After 3 days I was thinking it was gone for good. Almost removed my bookmark.

A mass email was sent out to all registered members. It would be the same email address used during the registration process providing you haven't changed it. I always see some mail returned as some services reject nearly everything that isn't on the recipients whitelist.

Have you "ever" received any email notices from this forum board?

I don't remember if I have or not. But have never used a fictitious one to join a forum.

I had to ad the e-mail address to my contacts or my e-mail automatically spams it

Typically that's the major one offense to not receiving emails. AOL is the very worst for rejecting mail, for instance. I have people that register and never see the confirmation email because AOL rejects it - most of the time. They then email me to ask what happened and I already know if I reply my email will also be rejected. And some email programs reject the mail and never leave a trace on the server, or a message, to notify the intended recipient. Personally I don't believe it's right or should even be legal to reject mail and never notify the recipient. Spam it and let the owner decide. But that's just me.

I'll send you a test private message and an email Song-Dog. That way we can figure out if the mail is getting rejected or not. I can positively assure you it's getting sent.
