Does anyone know if the marsh is full of Waterfowl? Looking for something to do this weekend

Pretty sure the flock I heard fly over today were all saying Horicon.

Get out more? Does that mean the geese were actually in here?

Don't know about the Horicon of course but I was surprised a decent size flock of geese were in my pond the other day. I see quite a few ducks in there but geese, I see a few now and then making use of the pond. Several dozen took off while I was posting some new private property signs.

I haven't seen a whole lot of geese in the air lately either. A couple weeks ago or so I was seeing more flocks and thought that was it. Must have been seeing flocks from further North just getting here.

central wis Ducks Unlimited report says it's loaded. Oct 25 is opening day here and the crops are coming out fast.

Ah someone's getting anxious!

It's a good time of the year if you like hunting and can make a choice. It all seems to break loose at once.
