Stop in and say hello

Central Wisconsin- Thermal/Nightvision?

Postby Jenick » Wed Nov 01, 2017 5:29 pm

Hello all! I have enjoyed reading posts, am now registered and look forward to contributing myself. I hunt from Stevens Point to Lake Superior mainly at night with thermal scopes. Shot my first triple last night and am looking forward to a fantastic winter of shooting. I will post the video from last night when its ready to go. Any fellow night hunters with thermal or night vision out there?

Welcome aboard Jenick and congrats on the successful hunt.

I recall some conversation regarding night vision devices on the boards here.
What you do in the dark will someday come to light.

Welcome.

I look forward to seeing the video! I haven't done much at night other than under a full moon.

Mitch,
Where do you call home? Just got back from another great night. 2 stands and coyotes galore. You have to try this!

I'm just outside of Ashland, but I have family near Grantsburg and travel that way fairly often too. I have access to a little land in both areas.

I live in Wausau and have a place in the Boulder Jct area as well. I will be spending a lot of time trying to find areas to hunt from Mercer to the Ironwood area this winter.
