Anybody knocking them down?

Postby 4xpuller » Tue Sep 30, 2008 8:06 pm

I took my 8 year old out a couple of times and he had lots of fun. He enjoyed running the caller. I think he was more excited than I was. I can't wait till he is old enough to carry a gun with me. I sure could of used another gun, a few times I was mobbed with lots of crows coming in. Oh well. I'll get them another day!

I use them for decoys at the next set, otherwise they go in the garbage when I get home.
I have heard they are edible with enough ketchup or tabasco but I aint that gutsyor hungry.

Yes... I second what dogduster says... we also use them in the sets as decoys throughout the day. Then we throw them away.

It's lots of fun and it keeps your shotgunning skills tuned.

Good luck... We're going again this weekend!!

I figured PredaTim would jump back into this conversation since I've seen pictures of piles of crows in his photo album.

As far as eating them goes, I know of one guy who eats crow. Funny as that little quip may be. He's a Cajun and eats anything and has a recipe for everything. Me? I'll pass on the crow eating Thank You.

My wife makes me eat crow all the time. Really the only way to get along..

I gotta try shooting some this year, sounds like a blast. I think it closes pretty soon, march 20th.
